The Honda Odyssey has long served as the golden standard for the minivan segment, and the upcoming model looks to up the ante one more. While the Odyssey was never slow to develop and add new technologies, the 2018 model will certainly step ahead of the competition with ease. The minivan segment isn’t nearly as competitive as it used to be, but the 2018 Honda Odyssey is about to leave the competition in the dust.
The new Honda Odyssey brings an updated, modern interior packed with available features at an affordable price. Several of the optional premium features include a heated steering wheel, foot-activated power liftgate, Auto Brake Hold, and ventilated front seats.
Performance isn’t usually at the top of the list when it comes to minivan specifications, but the Odyssey is about to change all that. The 3.5-liter V6 engine brings a whopping 280 hp, mated to a nine-speed or 10-speed automatic transmission, depending on the trim level.
The 2018 Honda Odyssey features a standard Active Safety Technology package. The package includes active safety systems like Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Collision Mitigation Braking.
